During her career, Dr. Cheryl Clansy has worked in various faculty and administrative capacities in public, charter, and postsecondary education. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector designing prevention and education programs for children and youth. Clansy is a recipient of scholarships and fellowships for study in Austria, Egypt, Cuba, and Thailand. As a result of her scholarly activities, she was appointed to the State of Louisiana Governor’s Pan American Commission. She recently led a contingent of students on a summer immersive experience in Taiwan. Dr. Clansy earned her doctoral degree at Grambling State University.
