Job Scope
Oversees daily operation of a singular department or campus. Directs staff, which should include people managers, in developing and implementing departmental or campus policies, procedures, and programs. Adheres to both district policy and governmental regulations concerning department or campus operations. Manages departmental or campus structure, development, training, and planning.
Position Summary
Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the day-to-day tactical management, technical direction, and leadership of the Enterprise Applications team. This includes cloud applications, storage infrastructure, data center applications, enterprise email, database administration, data backups, and mobile device management. This individual works closely with the management team and business units to ensure alignment with business objectives, and ensure stability, uptime, and reliability of these systems. The individual in this role should have strong personnel management, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as have a solid grasp of how to run and manage complex infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years equivalent experience, and
- 10+ years of progressive experience in managing a complex IT infrastructure, and
- 4+ years of progressive leadership experience to include:
- o Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Managing employees or team.
- o Coaching, Mentoring, Developing, and Performance Managing employees or teams."
- Ability to manage large complex programs with multiple functional stakeholders.
- Work Prolonged or irregular hours.
- Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.
